They play at Detroit on Saturday before coming home for two games at Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion (Oct. 9 and Oct. 12) as Philips Arena undergoes renovation.

The Cavaliers will be playing their exhibition opener without MVP candidate LeBron James and recently-acquired point guard Isaiah Thomas. Derrick Rose and Jae Crowder are expected to replace them in the lineup. Newly-signed guard Dwyane Wade also is expected to start.
