With 10 games remaining in the regular season for the Hawks – and plenty of players resting down the stretch – Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer was asked before Monday’s game against Bucks what he’d like to see over the final weeks with the No. 1 seed secured.
“We are hopeful that we can make it a positive,” Budenholzer said. “We want to be playing good ball going into the playoffs. I think sometimes other teams may be in a situation where they are pushed a little harder. We have to find a way to push ourselves. We have to find a way to keep our own edge and keep our own focus. If we can do that and stay healthy, it will be a good couple of weeks here. We want to have a great focus and great way of doing things going into it.
