Mike Scott is one of three Hawks to appear in all seven preseason games and the forward averaged 12.7 points.

We are back from a three-day respite to spend Parents Weekend with my daughter. Mrs. C-Viv is now happy.

Before we move on to the regular season (finally) with the opener on Wednesday at the Raptors, here are some interesting facts from the preseason courtesy of the Hawks PR department:

* Mike Scott, Dennis Schroder and Shelvin Mack were the only players to appear in all seven preseason games. Scott averaged 12.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and shot .569 from the field and .500 from 3-point range in 20.4 minutes. Schroder averaged 8.6 points, 2.9 assists and 1.3 rebounds and shot .513 from the field and .500 from 3-point range in 18.7 minutes. Mack averaged 6.6 points, 3.4 assists, 2.1 rebounds and shot .415 from the field and .478 from 3-point range.

* The final preseason leaders were: Kyle Korver (13.3 points), Jeff Teague (4.2 assists), Paul Millsap (5.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals), Adreian Payne (1.2 blocks), John Jenkins (.652 field goal percentage), and Scott and Schroder (.500 3-point percentage).

* Four Hawks averaged at least 10 points per game during the preseason: Korver (13.3), Millsap (13.0), Scott (12.7), and Teague (11.8).

In other news:

Today, at 5 p.m., is the deadline for opening day rosters to be set. I don’t expect any other roster moves from the Hawks but will check. Stay tuned.
